Between June and December 2007 3-5 cm of uplift was observed at Halebeti, a volcanic edifice names in Biggs et al. (2011), located ~10 km south of Hertali.
The deformation pattern is sharply cut off on the western side. Biggs et al. (2011) suggests that this indicates fault-controlled deformation, or an intrusion associated with dipping structure. The deformation pattern has been fit by a sill 5.8 x 8 km, at a depth of 2.7-8.8 km.
Following December 2007 5.4 cm of subsidence occurred over >1000 days, after which there is no data.
